Dear Mr. Leary,

On behalf of the Commandant, officers, and members of the John Basilone Detachment of the Marine Corps League, we would like to thank you for your generous donation to the detachment for an ad in our newsletter. This money will be used to help defray the cost of printing and mailing the newsletter to those members who do not email. That number is approximately 60 members, which is quite few in this era of technology! Our motto, Semper Fidelis, is code that all members live by in their daily lives. "Semper Fidelis" is Latin for "Always Faithful" and represents a brotherhood and sisterhood that can be counted on in any situation. It guides Marines to remain faithful to the mission at hand, to each other, to the Corps and country. Your donation will enable us to fulfill our obligation to our motto and all that it stands for and represents. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity.
